Bonnet Give Away

Photobucket

Phew...the Bonnet pattern is done and in my Etsy shop.

I made this bonnet pattern after searching in vain for a bonnet for my own baby girl. In an effort to keep her sweet skin looking sweet this summer, I created this concoction. I think it does the job nicely if I do say so myself....and so much more stylishly than a plain old hat.

Here is why I love it. The bonnet is adjustable...by cinching the ribbon in the back it adjusts to fit a baby 6-24 months. So all your hard work in making it can be enjoyed summer after summer.

Also...its fully reversible, which leaves room for creative fabric choices and more outfit options.

And its easy to sew. My pattern can be printed from your home computer. It comes with detailed directions and color photos that walk you through, step by step.

Also, it takes just 2 fat quarters of quilting cotton (or any other fabric you choose) along with a few other supplies, to make. So its a great way to use some of those cute fabrics you have stashed away.

So...in order to spread the word, I am giving this very bonnet that is pictured away! Just leave a comment for a chance to win. If you post a link to this post on your own blog and leave a comment letting me know, you will have 2 entries. And if you include the photo in the post (just copy and paste mine), you get 3 entries. A winner will be chosen Monday morning.

Thanks!

Sorry...the contest has now ended but you can still :
