So you may be wondering why there are headless pictures of me below. Well I had to take a picture of myself so I did it on my computer and that is the best I can do...so sorry. Anyway, the reason I put them on here is because I will be 20 weeks tomorrow (half way there!), and I feel like by belly is not big enough. So I was just wondering if anyone else felt this way, or do you think it looks about right? I know everyone shows differently, but it seems like there should be more tummy.
I am not worried that there isn't enough of the rest of me however... maybe she is hiding in my bum.
How fun! I just got to read up on your last three posts! My, my, so much is going on for you and your buddy! And don't worry, you don't want a big ol' belly quite yet, because before you know it, you'll want it gone! I fit into my normal jeans until I was 6 months pregnant with this last pregnancy, and then all of a sudden, voila!, huge belly the next week!
ReplyDeleteconsider yourself lucky!
ReplyDeletei think she's hiding in your boobs.
ReplyDeletesorry...this is so dumb. I really am not pandering for people to tell me I am little, I am just worried the baby isn't growing enough.
ReplyDeleteYou are funny! That bum comment totally made me laugh! I'm no expert, but I'm sure you're fine. Everyone shows differently, and from what I understand if it's your first it usually takes longer to pop out.
ReplyDeleteI think it's partly because this is your first pregnancy. I remember my first mid-pregnancy ultrasound unbuttoning my REGULAR jeans. This was definitely not the case with my third and fourth pregnancies. I predict that you'll "pop" in the next few weeks. It will be very cute.

ReplyDeleteyou're perfectly pregnant! Mom Wilson is looking at this too and she thinks you are absolutely the right size for your stage. She says you have an adorable baby bump!
ReplyDeleteNo worries, I was small too. I was also worried that I wasn't growing enough, but the doctor said I was normal. You may be like me and carry a lot in your lower back. Plus, I have heard that girls tend to be smaller than boys. Claire was just a little over 6 pounds when she was born and the doctor said she was just fine.
ReplyDeleteOne more thing, YOU LOOK GREAT!!!!!
Oh look how cute you are! Well heaven knows I have no clue about this kinda thing, but I think it's cause you have the longest torso known to man! Meaning you'll have the cutest baby bump when it finally does happen!
ReplyDeleteYou're perfect. Everyones' bodies do pregnancy differently -- I'd be glad you're not popping out all over the place yet...that'll happen soon enough! And it WILL be cute!
ReplyDeletelove you.
I'll be 20 weeks on Wednesday, and I look a little bigger than you, but not much. I also have a long torso. It's sort of weird though--feels like my stomach is elastic now. If I want to, I can stick it out REALLY far.
ReplyDeleteI work with a girl who is due about three days apart from you. You look the same, so don't worry.
ReplyDeletenope! you look just right. I never went into maternity clothes until 25 weeks with either kid. It seems like most people don't look actually "pregnant" until about 6 months or so!
ReplyDeleteI so know what you mean--one thing I wasn't expecting from pregnancy were the major feelings of vulnerability! I'm constantly worrying about random things. But then I have to remind myself how many people have done this before, for whom it all turned out fine...
ReplyDeleteYeah, like they said. You'll pop soon here. Took me a long time. I was laughing so hard at your my buddy post because I totally understand that connection you have with her. And husbands just don't get it, you know? They think it's US that want onion rings. No, no, dads. It's the babies. We are just trying to meet their needs!
ReplyDeleteRegarding your comment on my blog:
ReplyDeleteI teach piano lessons just to my niece Cassidy... but if you want to learn, I would be happy to teach/help you! Do you have a piano to practice on? That is a must! I am pretty adamant about practicing at least 30 minutes a day... let me know if you want lessons, it would be fun!
