It was a sunny day and you were both so proud of your snow man. Nessie was happy to be outside in all the excitement.I would have kept that little coat had I known then how much you still love it. What a happy memory.OX, Mom
That snowman is such a crack up, the way it is all slumpy and rumpled. I love the coat, but mostly I love the girl in it. Really cute peek at all of you when you were little.
I read the article and totally agree with the sentiment, though I also (and I'm in part being influenced by the last couple episodes of TAL here) think that one of the reasons we--collectively--ask to be overmedicated and over-treated is because there is a disconect between the cost of medical care and the consumers of it. If we knew the actual cost of many diognistic procedures, treatments, drugs, etc., we might not ask for so many. Not saying that it's all about money, but I think it's easy to feel like we should get our premium's worth in care whether we need it or not.
Cute photo. We were living in Student Housing (AKA "The Projects").
