First of the month..picking out the perfect tree.
Yights!
At our Church Christmas party.
Our tree. It started out fully decorated.
An exact replica of Santa we had on our roof my entire childhood.
Avery kissing baby Jesus.
Making fudge. Its a tradition.
Decorations. Avery loves the birds. She broke them twice.
Loving her new baby.
Christmas jammies!
Trying on her new bracelet. Turns out her wrists are slightly chubbier than a Tai baby.
Dad made eggnog french toast and sausage for breakfast.
Avery was a big fan of the sausage or, meat! as she calls it.
Jack in the box entertained her for hours.
Christmas Clementines. Be glad I didn't post the photo of our Prime Rib.
The end.
Thanks for all the gifts everyone. We had a lovely Christmas. We visited with family. It snowed. We got fatter.
And most of all we loved each other.
Avery's new vocabulary words include: present, chocolate, mine, open it, and Santa.
So basically a successful Christmas.
And all I can say is its good we had a year to warm up before Avery really knows what's going on because we may or may not be still finishing up a few of her gifts. Next year I'm starting in October.
but her wrists are cuter than any thai baby's! next time i'm not leaving the country without all her body measurements.
ReplyDeleteguess you're just going to have another baby to grow into it...
so glad to see you posting again! I really loved your Bloom post yesterday.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the photos. Can't wait to see you guys again. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures :D And those purple gloves and hat are so cute!
ReplyDeleteLoved getting a peek at your Christmas! Looks like it was wonderful.
ReplyDeleteSuch cute pictures Danielle. Where do I begin? I love Avery's purple hat and gloves, love her costume for the ward Christmas party and I love the scarf that Trav has on too. Love the picture of Avery at the fudge bowl, that was you exactly! And that picture of her holding the dolly, you were 3 months older than that your second Christmas and you held her the exact same way. I may have a picture somewhere of you doing that. You and Avery in Christmas jammies was adorable. I love the colors of the gift wrap, your room and jammies all coordinating. I must tell you I bought your gift wrap with that color scheme in mind. How did I know?LOL.I love the plastic Santa and I love that Trav made eggnog french toast, what a husband! Just beautiful...and Avery's word list at the end was just perfect.OX, Mom
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and decorations! I think that Josh's grandma has the exact same nativity set, and Zoe too was enthralled with the baby Jesus (who she wanted to have drink milk and lie next to the mama and dada under a blanket).
