First Day of School

Avery was super excited to go back to school.  I have to admit that after a fun and busy summer, I was a little excited too. A big change from last year, when I could hardly stand to leave her.
But this year I knew how great she'd do, and she is a busy busy girl and needs all the kids and activities she can possibly squeeze into a day and I was running out of entertainment.
She was a little sad not to be returning to Ms. Gretel, but her old preschool would have been in the afternoon, and I just couldn't swing afternoon preschool-- so we started at a new one, and so far its working out great!
She has already made tons of new friends and has invited them all to her (not yet existent) tree house for a party. guess we better get busy building one.
And me and Ollie enjoy some time together while she's gone.
And its so fun to see her beaming face each day when I pick her up and get to hear all about her day.

  1. Aw what a cutie pie. Have fun at school, Avery! And hey did you make her dress? I love the pockets and tiny touches of neon.

    1. Haha. Nope. It's actually from jcrew but I bought thinking I might knock it off. Actually I bought in two sizes and couldn't find the smaller one that fits better on that say so she wore the bigger one and it looked a bit sloppy. I'm so lame when it comes to first day stuff. Picture day is this week. I better step it up!
