Mom's Best

A few weeks ago I was lucky to be invited to a Mom's Best HOT Products Event for bloggers. It was so fun to be among a group of such dynamic and stylish women. I went with my friend Stacy, and though I knew a few other women there, most I knew from following them online. And yes, there were many many, "So... you don't know me, but I totally know you from your blog/twitter/instagram," conversations (totally one-sided though, because let's face it--I'm not a big blogger-- I just might happen to know the right people to get an invite). It was fun. I was delighted by how sweet and down to earth every single one of them was.

For those of you who don't know, Mom's Best Hot Products is an organization dedicated to finding and spreading the word, about the best new hip, innovative, and useful products, for parents and families. Read more about them here.

They are also dedicated to giving back, and were able to raise money and awareness for The Riverside Area Rape Crises Center

We were able to handle, touch, and test lots of different products and rate and critique them. And everyone went home with something fabulous.

 We ate lots of yummy food provided by Kneaders

And had fun chatting and socializing.

I mentioned that everyone went home with something fabulous, and while I wasn't quick enough to grab the freshly picked moccasins I was eyeballing, I won this Blendtec Blender in the grand prize drawing at the end which obviously, I was REALLY excited about!
