So remember when I asked for photographer suggestions a few weeks ago? Well I found one, and so when Avery was just 6 days old, we took her to have her darling picture taken. So the photographer was amazing, and the whole thing was such a fun experience. Most of the pictures are with Trav holding the baby in his hands (he has her in one hand in the above picture!) and I LOVED watching my sweetheart holding our tiny babe and giving her little kisses for the camera. We were there for almost 4 hours! It was great. I guess Avery was super bendable and got into positions the photographer had a hard time getting other babies into, so she just kept snapping away. So when you're holding a naked baby for four hours you can imagine how many times you get poohed on... a lot, and its amazing how much you don't care when its your own sweet little girl's pooh. Anyway, we don't have the pictures back quite yet, but the photographer Brittany G, has a blog that she posted a few of them on. Check it out. By the way, if you are having a newborn, I highly recommend going to Brittany. Her studio is in her home in Lehi, and she goes to great lengths to keep the baby nice and warm and she is so gentle and sweet with them. It was so great.
