Here are a few things I have gotten lately that I am really excited about:
Christmas Stockings for our family.
I have to say, I am so excited about these! I really wanted some white cable knit stockings but didn't know if I'd find any that were exactly like I was imagining. I did though...and when they arrived (on a snowy fall day) they were even better than they looked online. They are big and snuggly soft. I love them!
The Lower Lights
We got the album, which Avery LOVES (we do too...you will too). She dances around in circles while it plays and cleverly figured out by pushing random buttons how to get it back to her favorite song.
And
tickets to their upcoming concert, which were a steal and we get to bring the little one for free! Can't wait.

Double Welt Cording Foot
I have big project plans for all these little treasures. I can't wait to show you!
Well except for the stockings...no projects planned for those. Although I have to admit, since we have a baby due a few days before Christmas, there is a pretty good chance we'll end up curling him up in one for a photo. I know its cheesy but I am afraid I won't be able to resist!
What would you buy with a little Paypal fun money?
I do love those stockings!
ReplyDeletei have a bag of real vanilla beans too and sometimes i just smell them. they are so delicious and make the BEST creme brulee!
ReplyDeleteLove your stockings honey, could you give me the old ones back?ox, Mom
ReplyDeleteHey Danielle! I'm Al's cousin, and your husband Travis know's my dad Kent. I was also looking at those stockings, they are adorable! I was wondering how big they are? The website didn't give any measurements. Thanks so much! Love all your cute crafts on your blog!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever made vanilla sugar? Just put a used vanilla bean (one you've already scraped the seeds out of) in a jar filled with sugar. Leave it for a week or so and then sprinkle it on a freshly toasted and buttered english muffin. YUM!
ReplyDeleteExtra paypal money: I think I'd buy some more Japanese pattern books. Or perhaps the Alabama Chanin Stitch books. Or some tatting supplies. Or a private teacher to teach me how to knit and crochet. Shall I go on? ;)
ps
Send me your address, as I have a little thank-you-for-the-pattern gift and for your kindness in general.
I like this a lot. Thank you for sharing. I'm always looking for upcycles like this. In the end, you don't know it was a shipping pallet to begin with!
