Shabby Apple Giveaway

*Scroll Down For $50 Gift Card Giveaway *

use code: mysparkle10off for 10%off

I've been working on nurturing myself more lately. Just simple ordinary things-- making sure I get what I need every day.

It's easy to let that go (it sort of just happens doesn't it?).  I have found that I've become so out of touch with that part of me, I hardly know what it is I need exactly. So I'm getting reacquainted, and carving out a little time each day to focus on myself.

One of the things I am doing is thoughtfully adding to my wardrobe. I am so good about shopping for my kids but I tend to not shop for myself, and frankly... my wardrobe is looking pathetic! Its easy not to notice too much when you are a mom and don't have to get all gussied up everyday (and I really want to be someone who does that anyway...) but as soon as I have a function to go to that requires oh--not dirty sweatpants, I really feel the deficit.

You know Shabby Apple right!? You've grown to love their whole philosophy, and vintage inspired modern dresses, skirts, blouses, swimwear, accessories, and children's dresses too haven't you?

I for one, will always have a soft spot in my heart for them because after searching high and low for a dress for a wedding I attended, not 2 months after giving birth (and just insanely buxom), I found the absolute perfect wrap dress that fit beautifully, covered all my parts, and was totally flattering on my post-partum body. And that's asking a lot.

Shabby Apple wants to help get you on your way to gussying yourself up too, and has teamed up with me to offer one lucky My Sparkle reader a $50 gift card--which is so cool because you can put it towards anything you'd like. Fun!

But just in case you don't win, everyone can use this code: mysparkle10off to get 10% off their entire purchase.

How to Enter:

Mandatory Entry: Just click over and "Like" Shabby Apple on Facebook and leave me a comment on this post telling me that you did so.

For one additional entry: visit Shabby Apple, then come back and tell me (in a separate comment) which dress or item is your favorite.

For another additional entry: Tweet, Facebook, or blog this post link and leave a separate comment telling me.

Giveaway will run until Friday June 15th 8am, when I will randomly pick a winner.

Good luck!

*Sorry international readers, but this giveaway is only open to people with US shipping addresses.

  1. LOVE the headliner dress! You can dress it up or down it's such a pretty red!

Amen to not having clothes because it's more fun to dress the kids. I keep waiting to loose weight. Bad idea!

  2. I love all their shirt dresses--I can see getting a lot of wear out of the brown Coco Bean. (Does that count as a favorite? Ha! Too hard to pick one of those.)

  4. Love the red Headliner dress!! It's so fun! I too am guilty of waiting till I look/feel better. But then I just dress in my old frumpy-ish clothes and continue to feel bad about my appearance. It's a vicious cycle. Hope I win! :) cheriemie (at) gmail (dot) com
