Yep Trav is 30...so we had a little party dinner (not the same thing as a dinner party)
I might have borrowed a few of Avery's decorations...shhh don't tell.
with some of our family
and ate the traditional Wilson lasagna (as requested by Trav)
and had cake (apple with cream cheese frosting)
Haven't you heard? 30's the new 20.
Happy Birthday love.
I am thinking of leaving the decorations up and celebrating all month long!
At first I thought, "Wow, he's 30?! That's so old." And then I realized I am 27. I think I still feel like I am in my early twenties and everyone around me is early-mid twenties as well. Life just keeps on moving! Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteThose are some sweet pictures, wish I could have been there.I sent Trav's gift a week ago, did it get there? HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRAVIS!Tamara
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastically cute party!!! I especially love the picture of Avery watching him blow out his candles.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing more shocking than realizing that you are 30, is having a child turn 30. Makes my head spin.
Love,
Colleen
Happy Day, Trav.
ReplyDeleteDanielle, you throw such a cute, colorful party.
30 is feeling uncomfortably close, isn't it?
Does that mean 50 is the new 30? Well probably not. Thanks for the great photos! I'm glad you and Vanessa have blogs.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Travis!! I thought about you on Sunday. Richard's daughter Jennifer has the same birthday--only she was 31.
ReplyDeleteAunt LeAnn
I love the way Travis is PROTECTING Avery from the flames in that picture.
Ohhh, looks like you guys had a great little party! Love the paper globes! And I say it's a wonderful idea to celebrate all month!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Trav! I guess that means I've got 4 months to be wild and crazy. Maybe I'll go to a movie--actually go to a movie, not rent one. That sounds pretty wild to me.
