remember when I had no tooth?

If you went to college with me then it might make you laugh to know that my front tooth fell out... again. (It's a crown...long story, involving a softball to the face and then a month of spitting the temporary crown out mid-sentence every few days...it was very traumatic, I still have dreams about it.)

Don't worry, its glued back in now-- but for a few days I was one Oregon Speedway T-shirt away from total white trash.

And I almost took a picture...but I just couldn't quite bring myself. So you just get a boring post about my fake tooth with no funny picture.

But its still kind of funny if you think about it hard enough.

Happy Tuesday.

  1. Really!? You have a fake tooth? I would have never guessed that.

Um, I hate to admit this, but I would have enjoyed the picture. In the best way, of course.

  2. I remember when you got hit. I think the braces saved you from losing several more teeth. Had I known you were willing to talk about it on the internet, I would have gotten you a Lynyrd Skynyrd T-shirt. Possibly with the sleeves ripped off.
You are still pretty cute though. :)

    PS Congratulations on the bookshelf!

  3. I would never have known either! I really do hope that you got a picture if only for documentation's sake! What a funny/traumatic memory to look back on and hopefully laugh.

  4. SO impressed with your book shelf. It's simple, I know (in terms of the look/process of creation etc)...but those are the most impressive innovations--so basic/clean/functional. Well done. You deserve it (winning). Congratulations to you, Danielle! Sincerely.
As far as the tooth story..I think I knew that but was never fortunate enough to witness you in your white trash-hood. Darn.

  6. I want you to know that I have dropped a Southern Oregon Speedway t-shirt in the mail and it's making it's way to your house as we speak :)

  7. HAHAHA I am dying laughing about this because I totally came and picked you up from class because your tooth fell out. Poor little thing!

And also, loved your Steel Mag reference on my blog. Nice one. And I think those are pretty much the standard buttercream ingredients. It's just that different recipes use different ratios of sugar to butter, and I think this one's my favorite ratio.

  8. Oh and if Beth is serious than you totally need to model your shirt and post that!
